Transfer Students have already experienced some college and they know what they want out of higher education. At Coker, transfer students find the academic challenges, the sense of community and the personal and professional development they want. Our admissions staff will help make the transferring to Coker a simple process.

If you have:

  • 01. Apply Online

    Complete and submit your official application for admission.

    There is no application fee.

  • 02. Submit Your Admissions Document

    Submit your official high school and college transcripts from all institution(s) you have attended, even if you didn’t graduate from those institutions.

    Email these documents to us, or send them by regular mail, here:

  • 03. Apply For Financial Aid

    Apply for financial aid by completing your fafsa online.

    You will need our school code: 003427.

    Remember that the deadline to complete the FAFSA is June 30 each year for SC residents.

  • 01. Standard Requirements

    You must meet one of the three criteria for admission as a transfer student to Coker University:

    • a 2.00-grade point average in 30 or more transferable hours of college-level credit;
    • or a 2.50-grade point average in 20-29 transferable hours of college-level credit;
    • or a 2.75-grade point average in 12-19 transferable hours of college-level credit.

    Students who transfer from another accredited two- or four-year institution must have a 2.0 average in all college-level work attempted.

    If you do not meet the transfer requirements, then you must submit an official high school transcript in addition to official transcripts from all previously attended colleges or universities.

  • Transferable Credit

    When a student has completed the application for transfer to Coker, the Office of Academic Records will evaluate all transfer credits completed with a grade of C- or better from an accredited institution”
